Custom Outdoor Kitchen..... "That's Italian"

This family wanted something more Italian, something with a little snap... so this is what we drilled it down to after a lot of back and forth.... why not a grill, with a pizza oven so that guests can enjoy the benefits of both.  The Home Owner Chef wanted something that reflected an Italian based outdoor kitchen, but that also had the advantages of a quick click turn on grill.  He also valued counter space so we decided to bump out an edge for a bit more surface area to work with.

Who wants to make pizza outdoors without plenty of counter space right?

Let's take a look at the finish... I think we were able to build this outdoor kitchen exactly to the Chef's specifications....

38" Delta Heat built in outdoor kitchen complete with dual slide in burner, outdoor rated fridge, 36" Door/Drawer Combo - a complete outdoor kitchen for a great space!

We really took advantage of maximizing some space with this latest outdoor kitchen project.

Combining a Bucks County stacked stone, venetian gold granite, and some nice finishes including underbar rope lighting, accent lights in the backsplash, the of course the standard Delta Heat "red" LED down lighting to the control knobs this outdoor kitchen should really light up well at night.

Almost 60 square feet of granite went to full use here after you add the bar ledge and the counter top which allowed for a lot of great space both for the cook AND for the guests.

Ready for next season - one of the last outdoor kitchen installs of 2013

When you hear people say "I love to grill year round, if I could I would grill out every day of the year!"

Do you think those hard core grillers really mean it?  Well these folks sure do!  We installed this outdoor kitchen December 17th and I believe they plan on using it this weekend despite it being below 0 outside.  As you can see from the pictures there is quite a bit of ice on the lake, but can you imagine the view when it thaws this spring? 

I sure can!

What we did here was a clay powder stucco, weather tight Fire Magic doors and drawers with rain guards due to the proximity of the kitchen to the lake, and a Baltic Brown solid surface granite top.  Not trying to conflict with the beautiful red brick masonry that was already in place we decided simple was better the granite offered a great accent to an already beautiful backyard.

We completed the outdoor kitchen with a 38" Delta Heat grill with rotisserie!

One of the benefits of purchasing a true "premium grill" is that the customer is getting a 304 stainless, dual lined grill head that can get to AND maintain the high heat necessary for grilling in colder weather.  Often times a lot of the grills that come at a lower price point are advertised as stainless steel, but a much thinner stainless and often times even a stainless steel that can still be corrosive under harsher elements.  Not this grill that was redesigned this year by Twin Eagles.

2013 Delta Heat Outdoor Gas Grill Review - New Design!!!

In doing so they made some significant changes, and I was able to get a sneak peak at it and even got some snap shots which I've included in this review. This is clearly a grill that has a very contemporary look, red knobs, red LED lights, and a polished finish in different parts it really has a lot of components that a grill enthusiast will enjoy for years to come in their outdoor living space. A heavy 304 outdoor rated steel through and through combined with a rotisserie option, lights on the inside of the grill hood, and a overall finished look that will keep your food tasting and looking good.

We were able to cook poultry, steaks, and veggies this particular afternoon and the flavor was fantastic.  One of the major improvements was the even heat distribution throughout the entire surface area of the grill.  This allows for a more consistent and predictable grilling experience and can make the chef look like a real professional!
