Outdoor Room with some great features! Granite Bar and Grill with an added firepit as well as a beautiful trellis stained cedar pergola

For this quaint outdoor room we designed a space to truly maximize square footage while also allowing a level of privacy for the home owners.

Below you will find space as it sat on our first appointment to the concept to the finish.  We utilized tore out the existing brushed broom concrete and added an accenting exposed aggregate concrete with a brown stain to hide the dirt and make it look a bit more custom without taking away from the what was to come.

The grill/bar/fire pit allows for 8 people to sit at while the 16 x 16 trellis pergola created a level of intimacy while also providing a strong sense of shade without completely covering the space.

Take a look!

Indiana Hoosier infuenced outdoor kitchen and fire pit!!!!!

What we did here was drastically improve what was once a cracked concrete overlay (which I personally never recommend), ripped out the concrete and replaced it with a solid 2 color stamped English York Pattern that will eventually accent the stone and granite we chose for the outdoor kitchen.  As you scroll down the post you will see the progression photos from start to finish.

Also note that the home owner had a hot tub on their deck that was going unused and we wanted to maximize their space without really increasing the amount of useable space so we added some "Fire" to their deck and finished the look with a beautiful 48" chat height fire pit!!!!

Custom Fireplace Project for the Spring!

What we did here was pour a 12 inch concrete fire place footer right of the deck that was already there so we could maximize the outdoor space that was already in place.

We then let it set and cure.  We then place the fireplace on the footer, hooked up the natural gas starter set to it, placed the outdoor kitchen/fire pit eating area.

The fireplace and outdoor kitchen island utilized the vintage wine cultured stone product.

Featured in the kitchen is Bull Angus Outdoor grill as well as a vertical access door and fridge.  These folks are ready for Spring!

There are multiple types of flooring you can use for Outdoor Living. Pavers, Concrete, Travertine Tile, and another popular trending looking is Flag stone. Here we are with a Flagstone patio and a cultured stone base pergola with a half moon firepit/bar and grill. Take a look at what we did here to give it that vertical presence in the backyard.
